Books that you should not let pass you

This post is about two scholars in particular who have done great service to the books of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah in this time. Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Salih Al Uthaimeen and Shaikh Salih Ibn Fawzaan Al Fawzaan.

Verily the books that have been published wherein they explain the texts of aqeedah and fiqh are precious to any Salafi student of knowledge. Indeed they have aided many across the world in understanding the creed of the salaf and Islamic jurisprudence.

Likewise, if a student studies their books side by side when he is doing a text and writes benefits from them he will gain a lot of good and would understand the issues within those texts by Allah’s will. It is because these two authors have used very simple language in explaining these issues for the layman as well as the student. Therefore, the layman is in need ot it and the student shouldn’t percieve that he is too advanced for it.

From those texts are the series of books written by Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab which are the thrre fundamental principles, the four principles, kitaab ut tawheed and kashf ash shubuhaat.

Likewise in general aqeedah there are explanations of lam’ah al ittiqaad and al waasiteeyah from them.

In fiqh they both have explanations of Zaad Al Mustaqni’ in Hanbali fiqh. Likewise Ibn Uthaimeen has some notes on Ar Rawd Al Murbi’ and Shaikh Fawzaan has Mulakkhas Al Fiqhi which is a summary of Rawd Ul Murbi’ and the Haashiyah of Ibn Qaasim.
