Doubt number 4
Doubt Number 4
They say: We do not worship anyone except Allah, and our depending on the righteous and supplication to them is not worship
Answer to Doubt Number 4
Know that Allah has made singling him out in worship compulsory upon you and it is his right upon mankind, Allah has said: “Supplicate to your Lord with humility and fear. Verily he does not like those who go beyond bounds”.
And Du’a is worshipm and since it is worship then Du’a to other than Allah is Shirk with Allah. And the only one who deserves to be supplicated to, worshipped and to derive hope from is Allah without any partner.
Since we know that Du’a is worship, and we make Du’a night and day, with fear and hope. Then we make du’a to a Prophet or other than him in that instance of need, we have made associated partners with Allah in worship.
And Allah has said: “Supplicate to your Lord and sacrifice”. If it is that we obey Allah and sacrifice for him, then this is worship to Allah. Then if we sacrifice to one of the creation like a Prophet, or a Jinn or other than them we have associated partners with Allah in worship.
And the Mushrikuun for whom the Qur’an was sent down, used to worship the angels and the righteous and Laat. And their worship of them was in terms of supplicating toward them, sacrificing for them and reliance upon them and other than this from the acts of worship. And they believed that they (the idols and other than them that were worshipped besides Allah) were the slaves of Allah and under his rulership, and that Allah is the one who disposes of Allah affairs. However they (the Mushrikuun) made du’a and relied upon them (creatures worshipped other than Allah) in terms of coming near to Allah and gaining intercession and this is quite clear.
Doubt Number 3
Doubt Number 3
They say: The Kuffar want from the idols to benefit and harm them, and we do not want this except from Allah and the righteous are incapable of doing this, and we do not believe that they do this but we come closer to Allah through them in order that they become our intercessors.
Answer for doubt number 3
Know that this is the exact statement of the Kuffar. Allah has said: “Those who take others in worship other than Allah say that we do not worship them except to come closer to Allah”. And Allah has said: “(They say) they (the idols and others) are intercessors for us in front of Allah”.
Doubt Number 2
Doubt Number 2
They say: Verily the verses that you mentioned were sent about those who worship Idols, and these righteous people are not Idols.
Answer to Doubt Number 2
Know that anyone who worships other than Allah has made the one he worships like an idol. Therefore what is the difference between thos who worship idols and those who worship the Prophets and the righteous?
From amongst the Kuffar were those who supplicated to idols in order to gain intercession, and there were some who worshipped the righteous and the evidence that they used to supplicate to the righteous is the statement of Allah: “They are the ones who supplicate seeking to gain a means to come closer to their Lord”. And also they used to worship the Prophets like how the Christians worshipped Jesus Son of Mary and the evidence is where Allah said: “And when Allah says O Jesus Son of Mary did you tell the people to take me and my mother as two dieties other than Allah? He says glorified are you above this it is not for me to say of myself what I do not deserve. If it is that I said it you know about this. You know what is within me and I do not know what is within you and you are the knower of the unseen”. And also they used to worship the angels as Allah mentioned: “And that day they will be brought together then it will be said to the angels are these the ones who used to worship you?”
By this it clarifies their deceptive statement because the Mushrikuun used to worship idols and they used to supplicate to the righteous and those close to Allah and this is by two matters:
1) That their deception has no authenticity to it because the Mushrikuun used to worship the righteous and those close to Allah
2) If it is that we used to say that the Mushrikuun only used to worship idols then tthere is no difference between them and the Mushrikuun because all of them worshipped what does not benefit them.
And by this we know that Allah has called the one who worshipped the idols a Kaafir. He also called those who worship the righteous men Kaafir and the Messenger of Allah (Salallahu alaihi wa sallam) fought all of them because they were upon this Shirk and they were not exempt from this if their dieties were those close to Allah and his Prophets.
Doubt Number one.
Doubt Number 1
They (the graveworshippers) say: We do not make Shirk with Allah, and we bear witness that no one creates or provides or brings good or causes harm except Allah only without any partner, and that Muhammad (Salallahu alaihi wa sallam) does not hold for himself benefit or harm, but we are sinners, and the righteous have position with Allah, therefore we ask from Allah through them.
Answer for this first doubt.
Know that the ones who the Prophet (Salallahu alaihi wa sallam) fought and made their blood and women lawful affirm this (that Allah is the creator provider etc..), and they affirm that their idols do not dispose of any of the affairs, and that their intention was to get intecession through their positions (with Allah), and this Tawheed (1) didn’t benefit them in any way.
And Allah has stated this clearly in his book: “We have not sent any Messenger before you except that we revealed to them that there is nothing worthy of worship except Allah therefore worship me (referring to Allah”.
And Allah has said: “And I have not created Jinn and Mankind except to worship me”
And Allah has said: “Allah has borne witness that there is nothing worthy of worship but him and the angels and the people of knowledge, he sustains his creation with justice. There is nothing worthy of worship except him and he is the Azeez (All powerful) and the Hakeem (All wise”.
And Allah has said: “And your object of worship is only one, there is nothing worthy of worship except him the most beneficent most merciful”.
And Allah has said: “And worship me only”. And other than this from the many verses that show that one must single out Allah in worship, and that nothing else should be worshipped.
Introduction
Thirteen doubts of the grave worshippers and answers to them

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
All praise is due Allah, and greetings and salutations upon the Messenger of Allah (Salallahu alaihi wa sallam), and I proceed.
Know, may Allah have mercy upon myself and you that the way to knowing about Allah’s oneness would have enemies who are in wait, those who are eloquent and have knowledge and evidences.
Therefore, what is compulsory upon us is to learn the religion og Allah which would give us a weapon in order to fight these evil people whose Imam and predecessor (Shaitaan) said: “I will lie in wait for them on the straight path. Then I will approach them from the front, the back, the left and the right and you would not find most of them thankful”.
And know that verily the army of Allah are victorious with the proofs and their tongues, as they are victorious with the swords and spears, and the fear is for the Muwahhid (person of Tawheed) who walks upon the road and has no weapon.
And Allah has favoured us with his book which he has made: “Clarity to everything and guidance, mercy and glad tidings to the believers”.
The misguided person does not come with an evidence except that the Qur’an destroys it and makes clear its fabrication, As Allah has said: “And we have not given you an example except that we came with the truth and the best of explainations”.
And from the misguided people are the people of innovation and misguidance from those who worship graves thereby leaving off worshipping Allah as one (with distancing himself from Shirk). And they have associated partners with Allah from the Prophets and the righteous, and they have many doubts, and the answer two their doubts are of two types: that which is general (1) and that which is thoroughly explained.
The general argument
Allah has said: “He is the one that sent down the book and from it are verses that are clear and they are the center of the book and there are others that are unclear. As for those who have a disease in their hearts they follow that which is unclear wanting from it mischief and wanting to explain it. And no one knows the explaination (of these verses) except Allah…”
And the Prophet (Salallahu alaihi wa sallam) has said in an authentic Hadeeth: “If you see those who follow that which is unclear they are the ones who Allah has named therefore stay away from them”. (2)
Therefore our Prophet (Salallahu alaihi wa sallam) warned us from those who follow the unclear verse and Hadeeth which they us to cover their misguidance and these are the ones who Allah has names and described with his statement: “As for those who have a disease (in their hearts”.
And the reason why the Prophet (Salallahu alaihi wa sallam) warned us against this was because he feared that these people would miguide us from Allah’s way by following that which is unclear, therefore he warned us from folowed their methodology and warned us from them.
