Long time no blog

Assalamu Alaikum Long time I haven’t blogged because of the policy in my workplace. However, I am just writing this to wish my Muslim brothers and sisters a sucessful Ramadan.

Also I have gotten many questions about Dammaj. Now to clarify, right now I am not there, but however I have a few contacts who have told me about the experience and also I have translated much from Shaikh Yahya’s website about it.

But in terms of them I can just say what Shaikh Zu’kari told me and that is that when you come there you come to seek knowledge. And that it is wise if one can memorize the whole Qur’an and one of the Saheehain (Bukhari or Muslim) before he arrives although Saheeh Muslim to him is preferable because of how it is ordered.

Additionally, he told me that in Trinidad and I would add in the west in general it has no Tulaab Ul Ilm so there is a need for a person who is strong so the Salafis would gather around him.

And I add that you should get a contact in Dammaj preferably if one of the Mashayikh has visited your country.

And in terms of housing and children the cost of living is cheap so one does not have to worry. However, the conviniences is not like that of what we have in the west. So one has to bear with the conditions inshallah ta’ala.  If you want a “comfortable” lifestyle then prepare to not stay there for more than 7 or 8 months.

That is all I can write on the matter inshallah ta’ala. Otherwise make your plans, save your money, get your contacts, make du’a and rely upon Allah as I am doing right now.
