“إذا عُرف الشّخص بملازمة أهل العلم والأخذ عنهم سُمّيَ طالب علم”
Shaikh Ubaid Al Jaabiri was asked: When is a person called a student of knowledge?
The Shaikh said: If someone is known to be one being in company with the scholars and taking knowledge from them he is called a student of knowledge.
