How to stay away from Hizbeeyah.
Ibnul Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said in Sawa’iq Al Mursalah: 2/519 in the Dar Ul ‘Aasimah print which is located in Riyadh: And the occurence of difference of opinion between people is somethiong necessary that must happen, because they diffrentiate in terms of their intentions and understanding and their stremgth of knowledge, but what is disliked is the oppresion of some upon others and becoming enemies to them. And with the exception of that. If the differences go to the extent that it leads to differences and partisanship, and all those who diffrentiate their intention is the obidience of Allah and his Messenger (Salallahu Alaihi wa sallam) this difference is not harmful, this is because verily it is something that must occur within mankind but if it is that the point of origin is one and the goal that is sought is one and the way that it is sought is one then differences seldom occur. And if differences occur then it would be the types of differences that are not harmful like the differences of the companions. For verily the basis that they built upon was once which was the book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger (Salallahu alaihi wa sallam), and their intentions were one which was obidience of Allah and his Messenger, and their way was one which was looking at the evidences from the Qur’an and the Sunnah and putting them forward over all statements, opinions, analogies, desires and politics.
قال ابن القيم رحمه الله في الصواعق المرسلة [(2/519) ط: دار العاصمة بالرياض]: (وَوُقُوع الاختلاف بين الناس أمر ضروري لا بد منه، لتفاوت إرادتهم وأفهامهم وقِوى إدراكهم، ولكن المذموم بغي بعضهم على بعض وعدوانه، وإلا فإذا كان الاختلاف على وجه لا يؤدي إلى التباين والتحزب، وكل من المختلفين قصده طاعة الله ورسوله لم يضر ذلك الاختلاف، فإنّه أمر لا بد منه في النشأة الإنسانية [ولكن إذا كان الأصل واحدا والغاية المطلوبة واحدة والطريق المسلوكة واحدة] لم يكد يقع اختلاف، وإن وقع كان اختلافاً لا يضر كما تقدم من اختلاف الصحابة، فإن الأصل الذي بنوا عليه واحد وهو كتاب الله وسنة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، والقصد واحد وهو طاعة الله ورسوله، والطريق واحد وهو النظر في أدلة القرآن والسنة، وتقديمها على كل [قول ورأي وقياس وذوق وسياسة])اهـ
