Fundraising.
Food for thought.
I have one question to ask for those who want funds to do certain activities for their Masjids.
If Shaikh Zayed Al Wassabi and Shaikh Abu Amr Al Haajuri were here what would they have said??
Now, as I see it, this fundraising thing is something inherited from the Ikhwan Al Muslimeen and the Hizbi organizations such as Jam’eeyah Ihya Turath who many scholars have disparaged. This is the exact thing which Shaikh Muqbil Ibn Haadi Al Wadi’ee criticized in his book “The hatred of asking” and he used many evidences to show such chapter by chapter. But as usual we throw the advice behind our backs as if we do not know.
Man I am so sick of Nushuuz questions.
Alhamdu Lillah we had a wonderful Dars with Muhammad Al Maliki from Jeddah in Masjid as Sunnah today it was quite good and I ask Allah to bless the brother.
But what ruined it for me were very dumb questions from the audience and also Nushuuz questions. For example:
1) Is it lawful for a man to go into a woman’s house (who he is intending to marry) without the woman’s mahram being there?
Alhamdu Lillah Shaikh Muhammad Maliki gave a good answer. I am not so polite. I would have been like duuuuuuuh stupid even Christians know that is unlawful.
And other questions on marital discord which annoyed me. Oh my husband is oppresive, Oh my husband this Oh my husband married a sister who smokes weed blah blah blah blah .
I have a small advice for our sisters. No offense but this is because I am pissed.
1) Don’t ask stupid questions again please in order to get back on someone or speak about someone for whatever reason.
2) If you have marital discord deal with that in a private fashion for crying out loud. The public doesn’t have to know your situation, stop Boo Hooing for the sympathy of others and wasting people’s times when more beneficial questions can be asked.
3) That many sisters have problems in the first place because they married for money. So when you get horrors for not marrying for the religion it is your grave you have to dig. You made your bed like that therefore lie down on it.
My opinion is like Shaikh Al Albani’s. If you have a problem go to the courts. We have Muslim marriage boards and there are supposed to be professional Muslim marriage counselors. Take the matter to them Barakallahu Feekum.
And for this I give a big steups to many sisters who consistently waste my precious time by asking dotish questions.
Steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeups
